I’d like to wish EVERYONE a very safe and happy time of the year. Spend it with your family, friends, pets, or favorite stuffed animals (or all of them together), and don’t forget to come back and visit. Are you cooking? I’d love to know what you’re putting together! I’ll be making Tourtière de lac St Jean, along with crétons (today, actually), cranberry sauce (already done), and potato salad. And my world famous Chocolate Mayonnaise cake for tomorrow night. Trust me, it’s the most amazing cake ever. I wouldn’t kid you, I’m a chocoholic.

I’ll be working Friday, and then back at it (mostly) for the week of New Year’s, and then it’s the return to normal hours for January. If you have photos of your cooking, drop a link here! I’d be happy to share them, and would love to know about them.

Anyway, to all of  you… Cheers!! Here’s to the end of 2014 and the dawn of a New Year. And don’t forget the Doctor Who Christmas Special on the eve of the 25th! 9pm to be exact.
