2.5 x 3.5 inches, acrylic, on Topps cardstock.
Up for auction, and ending tomorrow, is the last of two available Rogue One series 1 Artist Proof cards. If you wish to bid, please click the image or here to visit Ebay, and thank you!
Work has also begun on Topps’ Walking Dead trading card/sketch card set. Pretty nervous about that, not sure if my work will be approved! Crossing my fingers.
There will soon be another iCardz Brothers in Arms: America at War card available as well – likely on Etsy. I have a few sketched out, just looking for a chance to paint them. AND, a new painting in the works! On the theme of Star Wars, and I’m looking forward to that.
Also have a text update on my Patreon page, will soon have images to go along with it. For one dollar a month (refuseable at any time, cancelable as well), you will be supporting my Drawn and Divided project. More perks are becoming available, and even more free and reduced stuff will be given and offered to Patreons as time goes on. Check it out!
Welp…… It’s been a rollercoaster of a year. In the world, we lost so many public figures including Gene Wilder, Robert Vaughn, Florence Henderson, Fidel Castro, John Glenn, George Michael, Carrie Fisher, Debbie Reynolds, and unfortunately more. Personally it’s been full of ups and downs, with a couple of family events that have been difficult.
It’s easy to get mired in the nastiness that happens. This year, for me, there have been good things too – a trip to Europe that was more than memorable, my job is still here and I still love it, and most importantly my adult-kids are healthy and wonderful as is my other half. How about you? What makes you happy these days when you think about it?
I’ve a new post on my Patreon – a horse and his window. This one is a public post, have a look! 🙂
Also completed are two Witch cards from Perna Studio’s Witchcraft trading card set. These two are available from my Etsy store.
Please have a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year! Cheers!

Super short note to everyone… Thank you to EVERYONE for having dropped by my site this year, for having encouraged me, for letting me share my world with you. May you all have a safe holiday (though “holiday” is quite the wrong word as most people I know will be working as usual next week, including myself, but hey I am not complaining one bit) and nothing but smooth sailing and good health in the New Year!
I look forward to chatting with you when we’re all sober again, and sharing my sketching as I walk off those Christmas pounds. :-p Please take care and here is to the human race in 2017. Cheers!

Saturday, I’m off to see Rogue One, and I can’t wait! After drawing and painting from teasers trailers for the past several months, I really can’t wait to actually find out what the story is. Topps has given us permission to show our cards for this set, and I know have my first Artist Proof card available (shown and noted on the bottom of this post). It will go on Ebay a bit later today – if you prefer to purchase directly from me (away from FeeBay) please contact me!
Sunday I expect to post a short, spoiler-free review of the movie, so if that interests you do drop in later on in the weekend!

After more than ten years of event-free problems mailing artwork to clients all over the world, the last four months have given nothing but trouble. Customs are opening packages and not being gentle about it, mail is arriving late, and people who buy from me are understandable not pleased. Two packages shipped to Europe have been brutally opened, thankfully the cards in one package not damaged, but the other did suffer a dinged corner. The worst part of this last one is that the buyer blamed me for it, and now that I have the card back, it is very evident that the packaging I sent the card out in was NOT to blame. The mail and/or customs is what is at fault.
The package the damaged card was returned in, was also opened! CUT open! JUST wide enough to grab the board that protected the card and take it out. It was then placed in one of those “we apologize, your package was damaged” plastic bags that the post office puts damaged goods in. The card corners are bent at an angle that is consistent with someone who, rapidly and without care, stuffs the card forcibly back into the card jacket.
I stand by my packaging. I do NOT stand by any mailing systems, in any country. Complete protection (if that is possible) would mean Fedex shipments, or similar, or registered mail.
I do not know what my mailing practices will be in the future. I’ll be spending Christmas mulling it over.
