A new painting just finished, this one sports-themed. Pelle Lindbergh… privately commissioned, 9 x 12 acrylic painted on archival canvas board.

For the rest of the week, a set for Leaf is on the table, as well as a new set from Topps and a very small number of cards for another set. Well… it might take a little longer than a week… A few commissions will be worked on, as well as these sets cards.

Going through my albums, there are quite a few cards that haven’t see the light of day in a long time, and I thought perhaps once in a while I might bring one out.

This was a commission completed for a young person several years ago. Dolphins! Fascinating creatures, and like many other “animals”, they are probably much more intelligent than we humans give them credit for…

The first of my Spellcaster’s return cards is complete (and spoken for). This particular unicorn is “wanted”, as popular myth says their horns possess the “magic”. (the fact that they don’t exist is another episode entirely…) Who knew that the molecular structure of the unicorn mane contains the genetic material to “break” reality?

Now you know. :-)

The Rogue

And I can’t end the week without mentioning it’s Doctor Who night tomorrow night… yay! AND… Orphan Black night! Will Max Headroom return? Will the soccer mom’s craft room host yet another nasty interrogation? Will Vic ever hold a cup of coffee again?

I can’t wait to find out.

A new card done, a commission of the inimitable Hulk… and I hope to have a new Unicorn done tomorrow. A Spellcasting one.

This is also the last week of the MOOC Gender Through Comic Books course, and I have lots of thoughts pertaining to that.

But for now, here is my attempt at a bad mood: ( :-) )
