Cookies! And Star Wars. Thoughts on the Star Wars universe (briefly), and meandering on the arena George Lucas created before the new movie comes out next month (I get to go on the 18th!!), are posted over on the Black Ship Books site, if you wish to take a look. It’ll also be on my Endlessly Curious blog.
The commission list isn’t up to date yet, but I’m making progress. Among other things, these two cards have been completed. A scenic Pete’s Dragon (Passamaquoddy Lighthouse), and a second Padme card (on Ebay for 5 days) from the Chrome Perspectives set.
Up next are two more Disney cards, one of them from Fantasia, as well as Luke Skywalker and Han Solo from the Chrome Perspectives set. Another large Unicorn is sketched and will soon be painted – hopefully in a week or so – and a lettered Middle Earth card. Lastly, but not leastly, an extra-large painting of Hoth has finally been started. I’m doing my best to take pictures as it advances, I’d like to write a piece on the experience of doing these paintings. For anyone interested.
Feel free to post any comments or thoughts, I reply to everything! Eventually…. :-p
Oh, I forgot to mention! Cryptozoic Entertainment previewed my Desolation of Smaug cards yesterday, on both Facebook and Twitter. Squee!
