First, thank you for visiting my website and for reading this page! I hope you like what you see. Illustration has been a part of my life for about 25 years now, previously as a part-time job and currently (since 2004) full-time.
My resumé includes hundreds of portraits – animal and people – with a particular fondness for everything equine-related, as I used to work as a groom and rider/trainer when I was younger. I’ve illustrated (black and white) three technical books for the Fédération Equestre du Quebec, another instructional book for Quebec à Cheval, a non-fiction book about the history of the Canadian Horse, have written a collection of short stories called “Pieces of Nothing”, (and painted hundreds as well) for companies such as Cryptozoic Entertainment, Topps Entertainment, Perna Studios, and many others. My resumé page has a more complete list, and if you would like to know what a sketch card is, THIS page will help you out a little (French version HERE)
As of October 2015, I’m now a proud writer/contributer to Black Ship Books, a site for fans of most things pop culture and occasionally high brow (though not from me, I can assure you). Hope to see you there as well!
Apart from that, I am an amateur foodie (I like to cook), enjoy sewing as a hobby, love to read, adore some TV such as Orphan Black, 12 Monkeys, Doctor Who, Lost (except for that horrible finale), Fringe, Dollhouse, and the like. Love going to the movies but find it expensive to go often. I’m also a very happy, well-adjusted, long-time atheist who still loves Star Wars to an unreasonable degree.
One of my very favorite things to do is to sketch and paint in my little Moleskin watercolor sketchbook. Taking just a few minutes to stop somewhere and just draw is very special and important to me. As a bit of a chatty person, meeting people is usually fun and I look forward to it! If you wish to contact me, please do! I answer everything, usually within a day.
Can’t think of anything else to add, except that I hope you enjoy your visit here and come back to check out what’s new! There is always something new. As long as someone is alive to tell a story, life is never dull. Allons-y! 🙂
